Regulations for Exhibitor of the Year
Evaluation criteria, terms of participation and operation of the Exhibitor of the Year election.
1. Objective
The Exhibitor of the Year distinction is a BENFAZER initiative and aims to identify the Exhibitor who has best incorporated and promoted FAVA\'s pillars and guidelines through their activities, products, and practices during and outside the fair. Through this initiative, BENFAZER also intends to stimulate collaboration in promoting the fair, as well as creativity in participation by each Exhibitor.
2. Eligibility
All participating Exhibitors at FAVA each year are automatically entered into the Exhibitor of the Year competition. However, if the organization identifies and confirms any behavior or situation that it considers serious, it may exclude the exhibitor from the evaluation.
3. Evaluation Criteria
The award of the distinction is based on the following evaluation formula, explained in detail below.
A - Social Media Dynamics [30%]
Total number of posts on their social networks and shares about FAVA, their participation in the fair, and how their products and services align with FAVA\'s themes.
For counting purposes, each publication or share must have the hashtags: #fava2026 #expositorfava2026 and the tag @feirafava if on Instagram or @fava.pt if on Facebook.
B - Internal Evaluation [40%]
Each member of the FAVA organizing team will evaluate each Exhibitor, taking into account:
- Originality, innovation, and attractiveness of the physical presentation of the Exhibitors and the proposals submitted, both visually and conceptually.
- Adoption of sustainable practices at the fair, such as the use of recycled or biodegradable materials and strategies to minimize environmental impact.
- Collaboration and proactivity of the Exhibitor with the organization of the fair, considering aspects such as compliance with regulations, readiness in assembly and dismantling, and interaction with the FAVA team.
C - Public Voting [30%]
Voting by the visiting public through a digital vote, accessible via a QR code displayed at all Exhibitor booths. It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to display and give visibility to the poster with the QR code assigned by the organization.
4. Tie-breaking
It will be up to the FAVA Organizing Team and their partners to make the necessary evaluation to resolve any ties.
5. Presentation of Results
The results compiled for the TOP 10 will be published on the page dedicated to the Exhibitor of the Year of this website.
6. Prize
The Exhibitor with the highest final score will be awarded the Title of Exhibitor of the Year, as well as the following benefits:
- A cash prize of 500 euros.
- A dedicated page on the fava.pt website for practically a year, until the same distinction is awarded to the winner of the next edition.
- Reference in the fair\'s promotional actions, participation in the Opening Session of the next edition.
- Free participation in the next edition.
7. Liability
BENFAZER runs this initiative in good faith and for the success of FAVA and all its participants. BENFAZER is not responsible for any adverse results in the activity or image of the Exhibitors.
