Regulations for Activities
Rules, duties, deadlines and conditions for presenting activities in the FAVA program.
1. General Information
The website www.fava.pt is dedicated to the FAVA event - Algarve Environment and Vegan Fair, a pioneering fair in the Algarve that seeks to present a more conscious, ecological, and compassionate way of life. FAVA is organized by the non-profit association BENFAZER.
Submitting an application and participating with activities or shows at FAVA assumes that you have read and fully accepted our Terms of Use, Privacy and Cookies.
By remaining and continuing to use the website www.fava.pt you agree to comply with both Terms in full.
If you do not agree with any of the rules set in both Terms, you should not use or remain on this website.
2. Motivation
We consider it important that the main motivation for participating in FAVA is wanting to contribute to a free, conscious, creative, environmentally responsible, and animal exploitation-free well-being society.

4. Application
Submitting activity proposals for FAVA is done exclusively through the form available on the page created for that purpose. The form requests details about your proposal, including description, duration, conditions necessary for execution, and budget.
We prioritize proposals that present themselves as self-sufficient in terms of equipment and materials needed to perform the activity or show.
Any proposal that conflicts with the purpose or any of the ideas defended by FAVA will be automatically excluded.
We prefer proposals that, through the organization of the activity and the lifestyle of its proponents, demonstrate a genuine commitment to sustainable and ethical practices, such as choosing green travel modes, using recycled or compostable materials, respecting human rights, and adopting veganism.
We value innovative and creative proposals that offer unique and enriching experiences to visitors of all ages. We encourage new and interesting approaches to the proposed themes.
5. Selection
Proposals will be evaluated by the FAVA organization, which will make the necessary assessment based on the criteria mentioned above and their contribution to the objectives of the event.
All applications will be analyzed and their proponents notified of the result in due time.
The program of confirmed activities is published and updated every week on the page created for that purpose.
6. Payment
When an activity is presented under volunteer terms, we evaluate the possibility of moving forward with support for travel, accommodation, or meals.
Proposals submitted with a budget agree to receive a small part1 of the value in Benfazer Credits2.
Payment is made by bank transfer by October 15 and only after receiving the respective invoice (or green receipt).
1 - Up to a maximum of 100 euros.
2 - Benfazer Credits serve as currency at any of the 100 Exhibitors in the fair.
7. Liability and Security
BENFAZER is not responsible for any results obtained below expectations, nor for any constraints or actions carried out by the public.
BENFAZER is not responsible for any thefts, failures, or damages in equipment or products, resulting from unfavorable weather conditions, failures in the supply of electricity or water.
Under no circumstances is BENFAZER obliged to pay any compensation.
The FAVA venue will have security guards 24 hours during the fair\'s operating hours.
8. Obligations and Breaches
Respect for FAVA\'s principles, physical venue space, exhibitors, visitors, and other event partners is a non-negotiable requirement for participation.
It is also crucial to comply with the times established for assembly, execution, and dismantling of activities.
Failure to comply with any rule presented in this regulation gives the Organization the right to prevent the continuation of the activity, automatically exclude any participation in future events, as well as not pay part or all of the agreed value.
